Monthly Meeting Details
Our meetings are generally held on the second Saturday of the month and include a short social, welcome and introductions, followed by lunch, a guest speaker, and ending with chapter business.
In January we hold a joint chapter meeting with the Thomas Nelson, Jr. Chapter, rotating our meeting locations annually. Our May and November meetings are often held in conjunction with our Memorial Day and Veterans Day events. There are no meetings in August and December.

Timeline: Social starts at 11:30am. Meeting and Luncheon are from 12:00-1:30pm.

Luncheon: Reservations required in advance for members and their guests. Contact the Secretary to reserve your lunch.

James Monroe Birthday Ceremony
US Congressman Rob Wittman joins Williamsburg Chapter SAR Historian Richard Newsome with the wreath that was presented by the Williamsburg Chapter to honor President James Monroe at the 257th birthday celebration sponsored by The James Monroe Memorial Foundation on April 25th, 2015 at his Birthplace and Park in Westmoreland Co, Virginia.

The celebration honored James Monroe for his service as a soldier, in founding the United States, and in many positions in the governments of Virginia and the United States culminating in two terms as President.
